Reservations
Please note, HIAKAI is fully booked for the remainder of 2020. Our reservations are open from late January to 1 May 2021, and any availability we do have is online. Our bookings have filled up quickly, as we are a small restaurant with limited seating. At the moment, there is no availability for groups of six people or more. The first to be notified of the next quarter of reservations being open are subscribers of our newsletter. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter, you can sign up here. As seating is limited at HIAKAI, this will not guarantee you a confirmed reservation.
Waitlist
If you are on our waitlist, you will only be contacted if a suitable date and time becomes available. This could be weeks in advance or the day of the waitlist reservation.
Summer closure
We are closed from 20 December 2020 to 21 January 2021 for our summer break.
Gift vouchers
Unfortunately, we do not sell gift vouchers. We do sell Chef Monique Fiso's first book, Hiakai, on our website if you are looking for a gift option but we are unable to ship the book internationally, except to Australia. Apologies for any disappointment this causes.
